Please understand that it's an incomplete document with placeholder art and graphic design. However, the information inside should show you the direction we're taking the game.

5-18-2009 - The Future of Chill
OWC is proud to announce the Fundable fundraising effort for Chill 3rd Edition! The link below has all of the information about this fundraiser. If you've got any questions not covered there, please post to one of the lists or email me privately at hyrum@otherworlds.cx . We hope you'll participate so we can finally get the game out. We’ve been working on this for years and, inspired by the fine folks at Pagan Publishing and Arc Dream Publishing, we’re hoping that this fundraiser will tell us if there’s still enough interest in the game to finish it and then print a limited edition full color hardcopy edition of the game.

Plans are a foot and meetings are being planned. Expect some news in the next couple of weeks concerning what's going on with Chill in 2009. Our goal? Put the fate of the game in your hands.

In a dark and evil world it's easy to forget who you are. When you are on a hunt after possessed creatures, everything you do can become blinding. But there is a solution if you want to get to know yourself. Answer a series of questions - are you ugly, do you love flute music, do you love the sea - and you will get all the answers you need. To become successful in a game that involves strategy, whether you play casino games, role playing games or anything based on skill, you need to analyze your own strategies. Do this and you will instantly become a better player.

What does the Cthulhu license mean for Chill?
In the short term, not much. The biggest obstacle we've been facing is having enough money to do Chill right. Doing the Call of Cthulhu adventures is going to allow us to get enough money coming in that we'll finally be able to get the art we need to make the game as awesome as it should be. That will mean a slighly longer delay, but in the end we think it's worth it. We hope you do too.

Most of the rules updates are completed and we're working on editing the background material. Over the next few weeks I'll be posting teasers. Art will be the next thing to get worked on and as that comes in I'll post that here.
